The Power of Prayer

2 Chronicles 7:14-15 …if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayers offered in this place.

Oh, the power of prayer! Here are just a few of the examples of God answering the prayers of His people: King Hezekiah prayed on his deathbed and God granted him fifteen more years to live! Daniel prayed for interpretation of dreams and received wisdom and revelation for each dream! The church prayed for Peter in prison, and God heard their prayers and sent an angel to free Peter!

The good news is that God is STILL in the ‘prayer answering’ business today! As you can read from our testimonies, God hears the cries of His people and moves on their behalf! When it comes to prayer, God is not a respecter of persons nor is there any distance in our prayers! Thank you Jesus for your blood! Praise the Lord!

Isn’t it wonderful that we can go straight to God with our prayers and petitions? (Phil 4:6) That whatever we ask Him according to His will, He hears? (1 John 5:14) And that the prayer of faith will heal the sick? (James 5:15) As you read the ministry of our Lord Jesus on this earth, you notice He was all the time praying…praying for the disciples, praying for the people, praying for direction, praying for Himself, praying just to bless His Heavenly Father. Jesus was our example! Brothers and Sisters, we should have the same type of prayer life! We should come together as one body and pray for one another! (1 Tim 2:1) And once we pray, we need to believe that we have received! (Mark 11:24) God has already answered our prayers! Hallelujah!
